Who we are and what we do

Random Acts of Computers is a 501(c)(3) charitable corporation, recognized by both the federal government as well as the state of Colorado. We collect used laptops, computers, keyboards, mice and monitors from individuals and businesses, wipe them completely, and refurbish them by repairing and upgrading hardware, installing the latest version of Windows, and useful programs like Adobe Acrobat Reader and Libre Office. Then we partner with schools and other charitable organizations in the greater Denver metro area, who help us locate qualified recipients, and donate the refurbished computers, completely free of charge, to families and individuals who need a helping hand. We also provide computers directly to some schools and charitable organizations themselves, for internal use.
